Values Passport
A Values Passport is a small, nameless file you own. It carries your priorities across Values Commons instances, so every domain can rank options by what you care about without making you create an account.
Passport contract
A values file, not a profile
The passport should carry enough preference to make a ranking yours, but not enough personal data to turn into a surveillance asset.
Only values travel
Weights, vetoes, and compatibility hints are enough. Identity, history, and tracking IDs stay out.
Your file, your copy
Keep it on your device, move it by any channel, duplicate it, edit it, or delete it.
No fake transfer
An instance applies only the values its domain can express, and should show what did not transfer.
No account required
The file should work across compatible instances and assemblies without platform lock-in.

Enough to rank, not enough to identify
The passport carries weights, vetoes, and a version. It should not need a name, email, purchase history, location trail, or social graph.
